I tend to treat internet fads like my hair & clothes style.
I wait until whatever’s hot is has had it’s peak and is about to decline (usually coincides with when I actually discover it), then I ignore it until it’s really useless, then I pick it up and bandy it around like it’s 1999, and I’m proud of it. Not realizing it’s actually 2009.
The only good thing about internet fads is that they change so fast that even though I’m perpetually behind the times, I am also conversly always on the cusp of discovering the new one. I’m not quite sure how that works, but it does.
Don’t ask me no questions, and get no empty answers.
I have tried several blogs out, for some reason none of them really sparked.
Tumblr is all the rage, apparently. So I’ll try it. I’m so painfully ignorant to it, that I honestly have no idea if it is on the rise or has been or is going out of style like Mike Myers playing twelve different versions of himself in each of his movies.
Anyways, Machines wants me to use this so I’ll try it. Although the thought of updating both the company blog and my own personal one seems unattractive, and I won’t promise you I’ll keep this one up.
But I’ll give it the old college try.
